...

The following are the list of the materials that were distributed to the schools for the biodiversity reserve, including the learning materials and the assorted tools that can be used for the start of the project.

The ten schools, both from Argao and Carcar with their respective participants were able to take the pre-test examination about the biodiversity. This was used to help determine their capacity about the biodiversity. Afterwards, the schools were given learning materials or handouts as the reference. First, the bird guide, it was a laminated copy of the birds that can be found in the Cebu, as a field guide of the students. Second, Biodiversity bulletins consist of 24 bond paper copies of different information about the environment such as the mangroves, animals, air and many more. The “I AM Series” is the information about the environment also such as the mountains, karst landscapes, and oceans. The information sheets also include the message on how to protect it. (Table 1).

In the Philippine Science Highschool-Central Visayas, located in Argao, Cebu, they gave the biodiversity bulletin -2024 to the Talaytay Elementary Schools as one of their extended activities to the elementary schools as they would promote the project.

The ten schools (10) were able to receive twelve (12) assorted tools to be used in their biodiversity reserved, as having quality tools were important as this would be part of the management of the biodiversity reserved for the upcoming years.
